Last summer while in Oklahoma Scout developed an issue where his eye's were leaking (like crying) and it was leaving stains on his nose out of the corner of his eyes.  At first the Vet suggested it might by allergies because we had been changing locations, and I'm sure there are different pollens, spores, and such it made sense. We left Oklahoma and went up to Red River NM, during our time there we were giving him eye drops, a...

Last year we attended the Wanderlodge Owners Group (WOG) rally in Pine Mountain GA, and decided then that we wanted to come again this year.  Hurricane Michael kind of threw a wrench into the plan.  Several of the friends we met last year, ended up getting hit by the hurricane, and in some cases caused major damage.  One of those friends was the WOG founder and his wife.  WOGer's are such a good group of people that they had s...

We left Red River NM on September 30th on our way to Norman Oklahoma to visit with Jen's brother and his family while their parents were visiting Oklahoma.  The drive out went much better than the way in, but it was still very beautiful. I put up a pretty long video (about 1 hour) of the dash cam in the bus,  Jen thinks we should make it a time lapse and shorten it up a bit, she's probably right.

We left the zoo in late afternoon, and we were going to try to hit some of the other museums in Balboa Park, we

only got a brief look, because we decided that our feet had had enough, and that something more leisurely would be appropriate.  We had tickets for a harbor cruise, so we headed back downtown, grabbed a bit of food for dinner and hopped on the ship for a nice evening tour of San Diego Bay.  It was quite nice, and we r...

So where’d we leave off, oh yeah $3200 for a better than new transmission.

We hung out with family for the next few days, we went to the beach, Mom, Dad and I toured the USS Midway aircraft carrier which is now an awesome museum.  It was nice to meet Jim’s family.  In case you can’t infer who, Jim is, he’s the groom.  After a few days of relaxing, it was time for the wedding.  Somehow, I got assigned to drive the bride to the l...

It all started a few months ago when my sister informed us that she was getting married in San Diego in July.  We knew we were going to be in Red River New Mexico for the summer and started looking at the ways we could get there.  We looked at driving the bus and staying at a RV park, but most parks were booked and we didn’t really want to spend the money on fuel.  We looked at driving 3-4 hours to Albuquerque, and flying then...

In spring of 2018 we were invited by a friend and fellow Bluebird owner Mike to stay at his cabin for the summer. It was an awesome offer, plus there was room for our bus.  In June we spent a couple weeks in Norman, Oklahoma with Jen’s brother and so the plan was to make the trip from Norman with one overnight on the way to Red River.  After a bit of delay for bus maintenance and sightseeing around Amarillo including "Cadillac...

Welcome to the newest addition to our website.  Here you will read about some of other "adventures" we're hoping it will be a good addition, and will add some variety.  Some of the posts we plan on sharing here will include, a day in the life of full time RVing, work camping, campground information, and other topics we want to throw in.  Thanks to Betty Jo, Irene, and Robbie, for their input on the matter.  We should have a ne...
