Merry Christmas From North Carolina

Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year from far western North Carolina. We hope everyone has a great Christmas with friends and family, and that the new year is enjoyable to all. We are spending the day today hanging out with each other (not that that is something different than normal), watching movies and eating goodies. We had Christmas Eve dinner with our friends here at the RV park where we've been working. We're looking forward to a visit from Matt's parents shortly after the new year. Hopefully the weather is pleasant while they're here, but it would be nice to have some snow at some point. We didn't get any from "Snowmaggedon" that hit just about all the rest of North Carolina, heck just an hour north of us got like 18", but here it just rained all day. We were hoping when we picked this place to stay for the winter thought we would be north enough for some, but so far we have only seen a few flakes here and there, nothing even to measure. There is still a couple more months of winter left, so fingers crossed.

We are still planning on getting posts out on a weekly basis, should be on Wednesdays. We've got a few teed up for the next few weeks, but they may be a bit out of timeline order, but still easy enough to follow.

Well that's enough for this post, again hope y'all have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

Matt & Jen

PS Here's a gallery of pictures from ONE house display a down the road a ways.
